- Live Backup (RAID Technology)

We use cutting-edge RAID Hardware to protect all data on the server against hard disk failures. This technology works by creating a mirror of all data on more than one hard disk automatically, without any delay i.e. all data is written to multiple hard disks simultaneously so that if any hard disk fails, that hard disk will be marked as deactivated and the system will still continue to function as though nothing has happened by using the copy of the data on the other hard disk(s). The best part is that you do not require to make any changes or special code modifications in your website/web application for this technology to function.

RAID systems offer a significant advantage over non-RAID systems, both in terms of data protection and ability to maintain 100% up-time, as the system continues to function perfectly in case of disk failures. RAID technology also marginally improves the performance of the various services on the server.

As soon as a hard disk fails, notification alerts are sent out, so that the failed hard disk can be replaced by the system administrators. As such, the system continues to perform normally despite disk failures, using the mirror of the data on the additional hard disk(s).

- Weekly Server Backups

We create our own weekly backups of shared servers of accounts that are under 20gb and 100,000 files. We can restore your web, database and email content from the backups as per your request. However, this is NOT a procedure you should rely on to keep copies of your content safe; we recommend you make your own backups. Our backups are made every week on a random day, and only the newest backups are kept. We make no guarantees about our weekly backups, and we do require a $25 fee to restore the ARMINDS backups. If you can provide your own backup file, then it will be free of charge.

- Your Own Backup Policy Manager:

All our services involve your critical data. Most of our Products have a built-in Backup Manager that provides comprehensive and cost effective protection by allowing you to define highly flexible backup policies that will protect your critical data. A web-based backup policy manager provides an easy-to-use one-step wizard to define the backup scope, backup frequency and backlogs

Monitoring

In addition to a fully redundant network and top of the line data centers, ARMINDS system administrators monitor all servers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Servers are monitored and issues are acted upon before they become serious. Additionally, the network and data centers are monitored and managed by on-site technicians dedicated to ensuring maximum up-time and reliability.

Security

We are protected from hackers and DDoS attack (UDP flood).

We have an extensive custom firewall rule and large mod_security rulesets protecting our servers. If we do experience heavy flooding, we have our datacenter enable network level flood protection. Our datacenters are all highly secure facilities with restricted access.
